The Great Western is a welcoming inn in heart of Newquay. Perched above beautiful sandy beaches, our location on the sea-front has unrivalled views. Our bedrooms are comfortable and inviting with beachy décor and many overlook the coast. This exciting role will see you work in an inspiringpart of the world, motivating a team of passionate people while supporting andoccasionally stepping in for the General Manager.
About You:
- Takingthe helm when the General Manager is away, you motivate team members todeliver their best and ensure everything is running smoothly andefficiently.
- Creatinga warm welcome to guests comes naturally to you, making every firstimpression count to ensure experiences delight from the get-go.
- Keeping awatchful eye over customer feedback means your team is always adapting tomaintain high standards and improve where necessary.
- You goabove and beyond to ensure a consistently high level of service,supporting the full team including Front and Back of House during peaktimes.
- Youoversee the consistent production of a quality food offering and recognisethe importance of the Kitchen Team.
- Having awealth of experience in a similar role means you are able to recognisewhen team members need help and you’ll support where needed.
- A keeneye for detail means you keep all admin and cash management systemsticking along as they should, taking responsibility when the GeneralManager is away.
