Job Description

St Austell Brewery is recruiting for an exciting new job opportunity within our internal IT team. We are looking for a IT Support Technician to join in a technical, hands-on role responsible for the initial assessment, triage, research, and subsequent resolution of IT incidents. You will also be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and repairing the IT services within the wider group. 

Role Requirements: 
Working closely with the Technology Services Manager and the wider team your responsibilities will include: 

  • Proactively manage hardware and software installs at multiple locations across the St Austell Brewery group. 
  • Work with internal teams to resolve issues with St Austell Brewery IT services. 
  • Troubleshoot any IT technical issues and resolve in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Administer computer networks and related computing environments making sure they are patched, upgraded and installed in accordance with the life cycle management schedules. 
  • Provide positive end-to-end customer experience and provide a single point-of-contact for the customers. 
  • Monitor and maintain email applications, virus protection software, web filtering and monitoring appliances, and firewall profiles. 
  • Develop knowledge of current software and hardware products so that you can resolve requests on first contact. 
  • Provide after hours and weekend on-call support as needed.
