Do you have production skills or experience and are looking to further your career? We have an exciting development opportunity within our packaging team at our state-of-the-art brewery in Warmley, Bristol. You will be supported through a nationally recognised Level 3 apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience across our Canning, Bottling, and Kegging operations, producing over 12 million cans and bottles of award-winning beers such as Korev, Tribute, and Proper Job.
What it\’s like to be a Packaging Operative
You will work on multiple packaging lines, learning to operate machinery from start-up to clean-down, troubleshooting technical issues, performing changeovers, and ensuring food safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with Packaging Leads, gradually taking on more responsibilities, rotating through various tasks to develop your skills. Additionally, you will work alongside Brewing, Maintenance, Quality, and Distribution teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of brewery operations in a fast-paced environment.

Note: We cannot offer sponsorship for this role. To be eligible for government-funded apprenticeship training, you must have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years and hold legal permission to work in the UK for the full duration of the apprenticeship.
- Minimum 1 year\’s experience in a production/packaging environment or similar
- Ability to work rotating early/late shifts (06:00-14:30 and 13:30-22:00)
- Positive, proactive attitude; confident communicator; hands-on learner
- Interest in technical operations; pride in the end product
- Counterbalance FLT licence desirable (or willingness to train)
- Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) is desirable
