As an Apprentice Brewer, you will undertake a 24 month, Level 4 qualification, developing your knowledge, skills and behaviours through a combination of academic training sessions at Nottingham Brewing School and practical experience gained while work within our production team. We produce high quality beer in cask, keg, bottle and can whilst upholding the highest possible standards. As part of your apprenticeship, you will receive the training and development you need to enable you to take a key role in all aspects of our processes, including product development, sourcing of raw materials, meeting customers and beer dispense. You will also spend time in our laboratory, learning about the quality and consistency of beer at all stages of production, while understanding regulatory requirements and the importance of operating in a safe and compliant manner.

- Keen to develop a career in brewing while working towards a recognised qualification.
- Has already achieved a level 4 (C) or above pass in both Maths and English at GCSE.
- Has a scientific mindset, holding a qualification in at least one science based subject at A-Level (or level 3 equivalent).
- Has previous brewing knowledge, commercially of domestically.
- Good IT skills
- Meticulously follows processes/Procedures.
- An aptitude for technical and mechanical skills.
- Enjoys variety/multi-tasking, is organised, resilient, positive, self-aware and calm under pressure.
- A clear and confident communicator.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A nationally recognised level 4 qualification (equivelant to an HNC)

Additional Info… This role will require you to work two different shift patterns: 6am to 2.30pm and 1.30pm to 10pm. You will also be required to work a weekend rota (paid at time and a half).
