The School: St. Augustine's is a small, beautifully presented school with a strong sense of community, set in spacious grounds. We have strong links with the parish, the pre-school and the community - everyone is welcome into the St Augustine's family. The Role: We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 and KS2 as required to increase the level of support in the classroom. There will be a requirement for SEND support to individual pupils and small groups.

Pay and Contract: The role is paid at Hay 10, NJC scale point 8 to 1 or £25,992 to £27,269 per annum pro-rata. The role is term time only and is paid for 44.65 weeks per year, and for 20 hours per week from 09:00am until 1:00pm Monday to Friday. The actual FTE is therefore 0.46. The contract is offered on a fixed term basis with an initial end date of 31st August 2026, subject to pupil numbers. The start date for the role is as soon as possible pending the relevant checks are all completed and satisfactory.
