Fixed term (1 year), starting September 2026. Pay range: Band B3-B5 (FTE: £24,796 - £25,583) pro rata (£18,671 - £19,264). 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only including INSET days.

Location: St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School, Whitefields Road, Solihull, B91 3NT.

The Governors and Head Teacher are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to join our team at St Augustine’s, part of Our Lady and All Saints Multi‑Academy Company.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare qualification.
  • Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum through to Year 6.
  • Work with a range of SEND pupils across the school.
  • Be hardworking and support children to reach their full potential.
  • Have good interpersonal and organisational skills to work well as a member of a hard‑working team.
  • Employ excellent behaviour management strategies.
  • Be willing to participate fully in the life of our school, including a knowledge and commitment to Catholic Education.
  • Speak fluent and spoken English (essential requirement).
  • Hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) and, where relevant, a childcare disqualification check.
  • Meet pre‑employment checks including references, evidence of right to work, medical clearance, and where applicable a prohibition check and evidence of qualifications.
