Salary: Level 3B (dependant on qualifications) NJC 2019 scale points 6-8 (from £25,989 - actual salary for 31.25 hours from £19,026) Or Level 2A NJC 2019 scale points 3-4 (from £24,796 - actual salary for 31.25 hours from £18,153).

Term time + 5 INSET Days per year

Hours: up to 31.25 hours per week (hours to be discussed at interview)

We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant to be part of a unique and exciting one form entry primary school.

Responsibilities

  • Be actively supportive of the Christian ethos of the school
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be flexible; the role may involve working 1 to 1 with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (including those with EHCPs), supporting pupils in group or whole class situations
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to encourage independence and resilience in pupils
  • Have high expectations of themselves and others
  • Work well as a member of a team
  • Have a heart for the community
