St Augustine Academy is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of MFL to join our thriving and supportive languages department. We would welcome applications from both experienced and ECT colleagues; we are committed to offering high-quality support for colleagues new to the profession. Informal visits are welcome. Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Can teach French and Spanish to KS3
- Is able to teach at least one of these languages to KS4 (preferably)
- Delivers engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of languages
- Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
- Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Has strong subject knowledge in French and Spanish
- Is passionate about languages
- Has effective classroom practice
- Is a positive team player with excellent communication skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
