St Augustine Academy is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of MFL to join our thriving and supportive languages department. We would welcome applications from both experienced and ECT colleagues; we are committed to offering high-quality support for colleagues new to the profession. Informal visits are welcome. CV's will not be accepted. The hiring manager may call candidates for an informal chat prior to the shortlisting process. Applications will be considered as they are received. Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Can teach French and Spanish to KS3
- Is able to teach at least one of these languages to KS4 (preferably)
- Delivers engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of languages
- Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
- Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Has strong subject knowledge in French and Spanish
- Is passionate about languages
- Has effective classroom practice
- Is a positive team player with excellent communication skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
