Job Opportunity: Data Manager
Salary: WAT Grade H (FTE £37,280 - £40,777) actual salary of £35,074 - £38,115 (approx.) per annum.
Contract: Full-time, permanent. Term time plus all INSET days, plus an additional 2 weeks (total 41 weeks per year).
Hours: 37 hours per week (8:00am - 4:00pm Mon-Thurs, 08:00 - 3:30 Fri)
Start date: September 2026
Reporting into: Assistant Principal
Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and experienced in data and examinations within education? We are seeking a proactive Data Manager who will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of student data, provide high quality data analysis and ensuring the smooth delivery of internal and external examinations across the Academy.
About the Role
You will oversee student data, examinations, and admissions, working closely with senior leaders, staff, and external agencies. Responsibilities include managing the MIS, producing high-quality reports, ensuring compliance with data protection and examination regulations, coordinating internal and external exams, and line managing the Exams Assistant and Exam Invigilators.

You will have experience in data and exams administration within an educational setting, excellent organisational and analytical skills, and a strong understanding of compliance and regulations. You will be confident managing systems, deadlines, and stakeholders, and committed to safeguarding and equal opportunities.
