Pastoral Manager – Start Date: 1 September 2026

Full‑time – 36.25 hours per week, 8:30 am – 4:15 pm, 39 weeks (TTO + 5 days). Permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students across assigned year groups.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and staff.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, behaviour, and wellbeing.
  • Support students facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
  • Work alongside safeguarding and inclusion teams to ensure student welfare.
  • Coordinate interventions and support plans for vulnerable students.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Liaise with external agencies and support services where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with young people in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and record‑keeping skills.
