Start date: 1st September 2026

Salary Scale Point 9-19 (£32,907 - £38,070) Pro-rata dependent on qualifications and experience. Actual Salary £17,774-£20,562 per annum.

Monday to Friday 9:30am to 2pm: 22.5 hours per week. Term time only, one year.

Responsibilities

  • Process procurement, orders, invoices and payments in line with school financial procedures
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including recording all income streams (trips, clubs, nursery and wraparound care)
  • Reconcile transactions including trip income, receipts and school credit card expenditure
  • Issue and monitor invoices for nursery provision and breakfast club
  • Support nursery funding returns to the Local Authority
  • Organise and administer extra-curricular clubs on a termly basis
  • Provide first-line support for minor ICT issues and liaise with external IT providers
  • Update and maintain the school website and social media platforms
  • Support new staff onboarding, including ID badges and system logins
  • Liaise with the Premises Manager regarding site issues
  • Provide reception and administrative cover, including lunchtime cover where required
  • Administer first aid (training provided if needed)

Essential Skills

  • Strong numerical and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in finance, accounting or school administration (desirable)
  • Good IT skills, including finance systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • A flexible and proactive approach with strong communication skills
  • Articulate, confident and welcoming
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative

Desirable Skills

  • Recent Office 365, Excel, Word, social-media and website manager experience in an office environment
  • Qualification in Finance or office administration
  • Experience of Arbor MIS
  • First-aid certification
  • GDPR certification/training
