Responsibilities
Job Overview At St Ann\’s, there is one main focus: providing excellent care and support to those living with or affected by life-limiting illnesses.
We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant manager with a passion for customer service to help and support the manager at our shop in the centre of Stockport.
Salary – Band 2 £23,055 pro rata
Hours – 2 or 3 days (15 or 22.5 hours) to include Friday and Saturday
Contract – Permanent
The Role
With our focus on Bridal wear and Vintage goods, our store is a unique destination for shoppers. You will play a key part in promoting our vibrant social media presence and helping to showcase our distinctive offerings to maximise sales and help generate vital funds to support the work of the hospice.
- Providing exceptional customer service, dress recommendations, style guidance and information about bridal looks, dresses and accessories, taking measurements, scheduling fittings.
- Support the Shop Manager with daily operations, including cash handling.
- Help create and manage social media content to promote sales.
- Assist in recruiting, training and supervising volunteers.
Qualifications
- Retail Experience (in the charity sector would be advantageous) including operating an electronic till.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Customer facing experience in a service role.
- Interest in Visual Merchandising.
- Flair for pre-loved bridal fashion and all things ‘vintage\’.
