Support Worker at Croft House. Starting salary £12.21ph, rising to £12.41 after successful completion of probation, increasing to £12.60 after a further 12 months in post. Role provides high-quality, person-centred support within a residential home for adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Full-time (37.5h/week) and part-time options (30h/24h). Workers work rotations including early (07:30), late, and sleepover shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support, ensuring each individual’s preferences, needs, and choices are respected.
- Work in accordance with individual support plans, reviewing and updating them regularly.
- Support individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
- Administer medication safely and accurately in line with agreed procedures and training.
- Facilitate and support participation in social, recreational, and community-based activities to promote inclusion and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records, including report writing and detailed daily interaction notes.
- Support and manage financial transactions on behalf of individuals where required, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with individuals, supporting communication and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to ensure consistent and effective support delivery.
