Job Overview Support Worker – Wetherby locations. Starting salary £13.71ph (Supplement rate) rising to £13.91 after successful completion of probation, and to £14.10 after a further 12 months. Our services run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require enthusiastic, caring individuals. Shifts include days and weekends. Hours will be worked across both Wetherby sites. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and review person‑centred support plans with clients. Support clients to live as independently as possible, accompany them on social visits and events, support hobbies, promote choice, arrange activities and outings, and develop their skills. Communicate open and transparently with clients and team members, acting with integrity and doing what you say you will do. Provide personal care respecting clients’ choices and dignity – including assistance with washing, bathing, toileting and continence. Keep accurate, appropriate records, including daily notes, and comply with health and safety requirements such as manual handling, fire safety, infection control and risk assessment procedures. Support quality inspection processes and cooperate with on‑site inspectors. Additional Responsibilities Assist with physical requirements such as climbing stairs, using hoists, pushing wheelchairs, moving people and working during night hours; adjustments will be considered in line with the Equality Act. Use computer packages (Word, Outlook, Internet) and undertake relevant training and qualifications if required. Work cooperatively as a team member and liaise effectively with carers, families, inspectors and other external stakeholders. UK driving licence is desirable.
