People Advisor role at St Anne\’s Community Services
Full time, 37.5 hours per week • £31,721.94 per annum
We’re looking for a proactive and supportive People Advisor to join our team, acting as a trusted partner to colleagues, managers, and Trade Unions alike. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships, coach and mentor managers, and provide person-centred advice that balances people needs with organisational goals.
Responsibilities
- Coach, guide, and provide flexible and expert employee relations advice to line managers and colleagues on all aspects of people practices, ensuring compliance with policies, employment law and regulations with consideration to risk and business performance.
- Guide managers through challenging moments and support life events, drive performance conversations, change management, and organisational development.
- Play a key role in helping managers grow their skills, embedding St Anne’s values, and ensuring our people feel supported throughout their journey. Using data insights, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver innovative, future-focused solutions that make a real difference.
- Work collaboratively with the People Partners to deliver future-focused, person-centred advice and guidance on employee relations across the full range of issues.

Requirements
- Experience – Essential: The experience to deliver the role, with or without qualifications, applying people policies and processes in a large, complex organisation.
- Experience of coaching and training managers on ER issues, consulting with representatives and managing relationships with Trade Unions to resolve problems and see things through to conclusion.
Qualifications
- Desirable: Membership of the CIPD (MCIPD) or an equivalent and relevant professional or academic qualification.
