Estates Manager in Oxford

St Annes is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Oxford, with around 865 students, known for being ambitious, outward facing and collaborative.

We occupy a four-acre site with a wide range of buildings dating from the 19th to the 21st Century, providing a mix of accommodation, offices, teaching rooms, catering and conference facilities.

The Estates Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Colleges estate, overseeing all maintenance and managing major building projects, and contributing to the Colleges building development and master plan while ensuring the College meets its statutory, environmental and health and safety obligations. The role will manage the directly employed Estates team and co-ordinate contractors with them.

You will be an effective communicator with experience of line management and management of contractors in a similar role. We are looking for knowledge of COSHH, health and safety and water drainage and heating services alongside IT skills and budgeting experience.
