Overview

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit an Early Years Teacher to work at St Anne's Church Academy in Hewish. This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us on a fixed term basis. St Anne's is an exciting, forward thinking and dynamic primary academy, which Ofsted judged to be ‘good’ (May 2022). Ofsted said, "St Anne’s Church Academy is a happy and welcoming school. The school’s ethos, ‘learning without limits’, is woven through everything that the school does. Pupils are wonderful ambassadors for the school. They are polite and respectful and behave exceptionally well. Pupils understand routines, and there is a buzz of purposeful activity wherever you go".

The successful applicant will work Monday and Tuesday in the EYFS class, working in liaison with other class teachers. We welcome informal visits or conversations about this opportunity prior to application.

  • Provide high quality learning experiences for students through the provision of challenging, stimulating and supportive teaching.
  • Set tasks, including homework, which challenge students and ensure a high level of interest.
  • Set high expectations for students’ behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships.

St Anne's Church School is currently part of The Priory Learning Trust, a group of like-minded schools whose shared ambition is to provide A Great Education for Every Child.
