We are looking for a part-time dispenser (18 hours per week) on a temporary basis for six months. The dispensary is within the GP practice and serves approximately 1000 patients. You would be part of a small team of dispensers, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Main Duties:
- Accurately dispense prescriptions in line with legal and practice requirements
- Process repeat prescriptions and manage medication queries
- Provide excellent patient service at the dispensary counter
- Maintain stock control and ensure proper storage of medicines
- Work closely with GPs, nurses, and the wider practice team
About You:
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) essential
- Experience working in a pharmacy or GP dispensary
- Excellent attention to detail and IT skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
