St Andrews International School Bangkok is one of 88 schools in the Nord Anglia Education (NAE) family. We offer a British educational curriculum with an international perspective that begins in Nursery and leads up to IGCSE examinations in Year 11, and culminates with the International Baccalaureate Diploma after completing Year 13. The IT Technician is responsible for providing effective technical support to staff and students and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across the High School campus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide IT support for all school devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, etc.).
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain software on desktops, laptops, and tablets.
- Arrange and coordinate hardware warranty repairs where required.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including improvements and revisions as necessary.
- Conduct regular surveys of IT equipment and infrastructure, logging faults and maintenance needs.
- Work with external suppliers and contractors on technical projects relating to school IT systems.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of the IT team.
- Keep abreast of developments in learning technology and research solutions to technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with software and hardware licensing agreements and School IT policies.
- Provide operational and systems support to school personnel on a daily basis.
- Support IT provision for school events and activities.
- Work flexibly when required, including evenings, open days, parents' evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Contribute to an effective IT support service for St Andrews staff and students, working closely with other members of the IT team.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WLAN).
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure AD administration.
- Understanding of IT security principles, user access control, and data protection practices.
- Professional attitude with a collaborative and service-oriented approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
