SAH Band 2 £22,386 – £23,969 pro rata per annum 35 hours per week, 5 days Monday to Saturday.

Who are we?

St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions requiring complex symptom management and end-of-life care. It is Lanarkshire’s specialist hospice, offering multidisciplinary support to patients, their families, and carers. The service is provided free of charge to the adult population of North and South Lanarkshire and is accessible to all, regardless of race, gender, or creed. What is the role?

As the Shop Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of our Retail Store, aligning with the organisation’s goals and values. Your duties include strategic planning, volunteer management, customer service, and financial oversight, all aimed at maximising shop profitability and supporting our charitable objectives.

  • Operate tills, handle cash, maintain accurate financial records, and manage stock control for donated and branded goods.
  • Experience in managing a retail store from startup to achieving high-volume sales targets.

  • Stay informed about market trends and create an attractive shopping environment to enhance the success of the hospice shop.
