Purpose of Role: To provide employee relations (ER) support and guidance across the Northampton Hospital whilst ensuring managers are coached through ER issues. To advise on a best practice approach to resolve ER matters, whilst maintaining a pragmatic focus in line with the Charity's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to managers on ER activities across the Northampton Hospital ensuring cases are dealt with in an effective and timely manner.
  • Work with managers to coach and support with regards to a broad range of ER issues to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Understand and monitor absence levels in the designated area looking at both long and short term sick absence and work with managers to reduce absence levels.
  • Assist the HR Business Partner in development and implementation of the Charity's Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a wider HR team, to share knowledge and support development within the team.
