Acute Services

Our aim is to provide high-quality assessment, care, and treatment, helping patients progress to less restrictive settings and live independently near communities. Our multidisciplinary teams have extensive experience, and we seek Consultant Psychiatrists interested in working within Acute services alongside PICU teams. We include patients in planning their care, valuing each individual’s qualities. Our teams are compassionate, inclusive, motivated, and focused on outcomes, respecting everyone’s dignity.

The Role

If you want to work with an innovative, dynamic team, develop and deliver up-to-date treatments, and work in a supportive environment, this role is for you! You will undertake non-clinical activities like research, teaching, governance, and management, influencing service directions for better patient outcomes. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee complex patient management, promote service innovation, and develop your interests. You will have an office, ward doctor support, and a full MDT including Clinical Administrators and Personal Assistants. You will be data-driven, with dashboards supporting clinical decisions. You will provide leadership, foster psychological safety, and drive quality improvements aligned with our quality management system and strategy. We seek individuals who value autonomy, are passionate about transforming care, and want to lead teams sharing this vision.
