The role of a Dialectical Behaviour Therapist is to join a DBT team established in 2011, to provide model adherent therapy to working age and older adult men and women within a secure setting. Additionally, the role will work with colleagues to reliably collect and interpret data regarding the outcomes of interventions provided, with consideration for opportunities for research and potential publication.

About you:

The right candidate will be a health professional with eligibility for registration with a professional body (e.g. HCPC, BACP, NMC, BPS, SWE). You will be experienced in undertaking risk assessment and managing people with severe complex needs, including past trauma. You must also be able to communicate clearly, effectively and sensitively. A recognised qualification as a DBT therapist (e.g. Foundation Level training) is desirable, though training would be available for the right candidate in the absence of this prior qualification. Training or experience in delivery of other psychological interventions is not essential but desirable.

Our rewards and benefits:

We offer an excellent benefits package including 35 days holiday, sickness policy on par with NHS (including bank holidays), increasing to 41 after 10 years' service, life cover; car lease scheme, free parking, cycle to work scheme, healthcare discounts, employee support programme and opportunities for research, training and CPD.
