Essential Requirements

  • Be of Consultant grade.
  • Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
  • Have completed specialty training.
  • Have a minimum of five years' post‑qualification experience.
  • Be GMC registered.
  • Be Section 12 approved.
  • Previous Medico‑Legal report writing experience is desirable.
  • Bond Solon or equivalent expert witness training is desirable, although support may be available for suitable candidates wishing to develop in this area.
