Essential Requirements
- Be of Consultant grade.
- Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
- Have completed specialty training.
- Have a minimum of five years' post‑qualification experience.
- Be GMC registered.
- Be Section 12 approved.
- Previous Medico‑Legal report writing experience is desirable.
- Bond Solon or equivalent expert witness training is desirable, although support may be available for suitable candidates wishing to develop in this area.
