The Charity
St Andrews Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs. St Andrews Birmingham is a 125 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprising of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and public transport. We are very proud that our Birmingham hospital is rated Good overall by the Care Quality Commission and Outstanding in responsiveness. We are also part of a wider healthcare provider collaborative, REACHOUT, working in association with two other NHS Trusts in the West Midlands.
Your role with us
We are looking for an experienced professional driver to join our Logistics Team. You will be driving patients, family members and members of staff to national locations as well as collection and delivery duties around our Birmingham site. The post holder will be required to work flexible working hours.
Your profile
- You will be of smart appearance with a polite and courteous manner, enjoy working as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively.
- You must hold a full clean driving licence (for business insurance purposes must be over 21).
- The role requires a level of basic IT skills to include Excel.
- Be able to work with a degree of autonomy.
- All applicants must hold a Full Manual UK Driving Licence.
