Support Workers ā Adult Care Services
Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire
From £23,879 plus enhancements, per annum, pro rata
Broom Cottage is a stunning residential care home for up to 5 adults within a peaceful, community-based environment. With an emphasis on promoting independence, positive behaviour support and vocational skills development. Broom Cottageās aim is to provide positive, personalised support and promote independence for individuals with a learning disability or autism
Your profile
Requirements
There are no set entry requirements to become a Support Worker as full training is provided, but there personal characteristics which are essential. We would welcome your application if you are:
- Caring and kind
- Cheerful and friendly
- Willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc.) in some areas
- Resilient, with a ācan do, anything is possibleā attitude
- Someone who loves to work in a team, using your own initiative and creativity, but also able to follow procedures consistently where required
- Someone who enjoys motivating and encouraging others to achieve their goals
- Committed to inclusion and diversity
- If you have any hobbies or interests, weād also love to hear about these
