The role
Your role will provide clinical leadership and strategic oversight within the Secure Services division ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives. You will be responsible for the line management of medical staff within the divisions and ensuring compliance of the medical body with Charity policies and guidelines. You will provide clinical strategic oversight, working closely with the Medical Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. In your role, you will develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery, while fostering a culture of open communication, reflective practice, and shared clinical leadership.
About you
You will bring significant clinical experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist within Secure Services. You will hold a full GMC registration and inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in Psychiatry. You will have an excellent understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and professional standards. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a proven record of excellent clinical leadership and team management. You will have both the breadth and depth of skills to fulfil the role described above and the ability to inspire and lead with a focus on excellence and accountability. You will also be a role model for the St Andrew's CARE values and the pillars of our Leadership Commitment including compassionate, person-centred care.
