Location: Northampton

Full Time – Rotating Long days & nights

Salary: From £40,447 per annum, plus enhancements

Oak Ward

Oak is a recovery-orientated medium secure service for women aged over 18 with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions. The philosophy of care on Oak is based on recognition that an individual has strengths as well as needs, and a right to support, treatment, and care from a multi-disciplinary team able to assist recovery.

Sunley Ward

Sunley is a recovery-orientated low secure service for men aged over 18 with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions. The philosophy of care is based on recognition that an individual has strengths as well as needs, and a right to support, treatment, and care from our specialist multi-disciplinary team.

Main Duties of the Role

  • Lead your team by example and work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide and receive clinical supervision.
  • Co-ordinate the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure all clinical services provided to the ward function effectively and efficiently to meet individual patient needs.
  • Ensure ward environment is clean and safe for all staff, patients, and visitors at all times.
  • Act as the Designated Division Shift Co-ordinator (bleep holder) co-ordinating and undertaking seclusion reviews as required.
  • Use demonstrated expertise to provide vision and effective role modelling to ensure fundamental high standards of clinical care are maintained.
  • Keep up to date with current topics, policies, and innovations in clinical practice and have the ability to translate into practice.
  • Deputise for the Ward Manager in their absence or as required.
