We are looking for a proactive, passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our neurodevelopmental service for adults, working with our team of highly skilled clinicians.

- Service: ASD/ADHD Assessment for Adults
- Location: Home‑based currently – Birmingham / Solihull and surrounding area. Occasional travel to our Northampton site.
- Salary: £26,586 per annum
- Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours
- Driving: Full clean driving licence and a car are essential.
St Andrew’s Outpatient Services (a charity commissioned by the NHS) provides specialist mental healthcare for people with complex and challenging needs. You will work alongside qualified psychologists assessing adults for ASD and ADHD, using the ADOS‑2 and other psychometric tools. Most work will be delivered online, with the possibility of some face‑to‑face assessments.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and writing clinical reports in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Managing databases to monitor clinical outcomes and service delivery.
- Supporting administrative tasks and contributing to the planning and organising of services.
- Acting as a liaison between clinicians and ensuring high‑quality communication.
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 2:1 in a psychology degree.
- Previous ASD/ADHD experience is desirable; training and supervision will be provided.
- Experience working with adults (and children, where possible) is desirable.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Psychologist and the ability to plan and organise work independently is desirable.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
