Overview

Assistant Psychologist – Community Partnerships (BSOL Birmingham).

St Andrew’s Community Partnerships has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to work within a neurodevelopmental service for adults in partnership with some of our neighbouring Trusts.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside qualified psychologists assessing adults for ASD and ADHD, utilising the ADOS-2 and other relevant psychometrics (full training provided).
  • Carry out most assessments online with some possible face-to-face assessments.
  • Support the administration and the writing of the clinical report, working with a team of clinicians.
  • Manage databases to monitor clinical outcomes and service delivery (supervision and training provided).
  • Act as a link between clinicians within the service, requiring excellent written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Travel may be required; a full, clean driving licence and a car are essential.
  • Prior ASD/ADHD experience is desirable, with supervision to develop in this area.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a 2:1 in a psychology degree.
  • Experience or interest in ASD/ADHD assessment is desirable; training and supervision will be provided.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills; ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

Location and Hours

Location: Home-based (Birmingham/Solihull and surrounding area) with occasional travel to the Northampton site.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary

£26,586 per annum.
