Primary School is looking to appoint a welfare assistant to supervise pupils during the midday break either in the school grounds or in the school premises i.e. during the time when pupils are taking their meal or if the pupils are unable to use the school grounds because of inclement weather.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils during midday break, ensuring their safety and facilitating their welfare activities in line with safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Provide satisfactory references.
- Have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more in the last 5 years or 12 months or more in the last 10 years (if aged 18 or over) and must obtain Certificates of Good Character if applicable.
