Saint Ambrose Barlow Catholic Primary School, Manchester Road, Astley, M29 7DY

Salary: Grade 3, £7,227 per annum. £13.26 per hour

Hours: 12.5 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

The Governors of St Ambrose Barlow Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an efficient, enthusiastic and approachable After School Club Assistant, who is reliable, self-motivated, and supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school. The After School Club Assistant will assist with the day-to-day running of the extended provision to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils in their care. This will involve preparing healthy snacks and engaging activities and making sure all pupils follow relevant policies and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a challenging role within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide after-school care and supervision for pupils, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with planning and running engaging activities and snacks in line with school policies.
  • Uphold safeguarding and health and safety standards and promote the wellbeing of pupils.
