Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.45pm (Term time)

Based in the heart of Glasgow’s City Centre with easy access to transport links, the College offers an inclusive culture based on integrity, respect and personal excellence in making a difference in the lives of its pupils, parents and staff alike. As part of the St Aloysius’ family you will be working for an open and flexible employer. This is a term time role so operates over 38 weeks in the year. We provide staff access to our multi gym suite and have a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing.

An opportunity has arisen for a School Road Crossing Attendant to assist our pupils and staff to safely cross the roads at designated areas around our premises. It is an important part of our daily routine and the safety of children and staff is paramount. To help maintain good standards around the school, the role also includes litter picking, helping to ensure that the school and its grounds are clean, neat & tidy.

You must be reliable and punctual, and prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Full training will be given and we expect that you would adhere to our safe working practices. St Aloysius' College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undertake appropriate pre-employment PVG checks. All appointments are also subject to satisfactory references.
