The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our friendly and supportive English Department. We are looking for someone who can inspire engagement in the classroom and capture the enthusiasm pupils have for learning English. The successful applicant will be highly motivated to inspire pupils at all levels from ages 11-18.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities to join our passionate, hard-working and friendly English department:
- Suitable for ECT’s or experienced teachers
- A passion for excellence in the teaching of English
- The ability to maintain and raise standards of student attainment and achievement and to monitor and support student progress
- The ability to effectively lead, manage and motivate students and the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
