St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School is a friendly, catholic school with a nurturing ethos. We are seeking to appoint a positive, inspirational and self‑motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is suitably qualified and experienced.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a sound knowledge of working with young children in an Early Years setting;
- Have an energetic and creative approach to learning;
- Provide excellent support for the class teacher and children;
- Have strong behaviour management skills;
- Have excellent, inclusive practice including effective questioning techniques and strategies to develop children’s communication and language;
- Have high expectations for all children and be committed to enabling children to develop their full potential;
- Have a willingness to work as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills, in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- An approved Early Years level 3 qualification (see DfE criteria);
- Basic literacy and numeracy qualifications;
- Hold a certificate in Paediatric First Aid (or be prepared to receive the training).
