We are seeking a compassionate and patient part-time carer to provide visiting and night care for a client in the Haringey area of London. This role requires a sensitive and understanding approach to care, with a focus on providing emotional and physical security for the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and emotional support during daytime visits
  • Assist with basic meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
  • Perform laundry tasks as needed
  • Offer non-professional massage for neuropathy relief, as guided by the client
  • Provide attentive night care to ensure the client's comfort and safety
Schedule:
  • Daytime visits: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Night care: Two nights per week (specific nights to be arranged)
  • Total hours: 22 hours of daytime care plus 2 nights per week
Required Qualities:
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to engage in client-led conversations
  • Patience and understanding, especially when the client is having difficult days
  • Respect for the client's autonomy and preferences
