We're an enthusiast-run business with an excellent reputation, looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles properly, rather than simply working through routine servicing.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Servicing and maintenance
- Timing chain replacements
- Clutch, gearbox and drivetrain repairs
- Suspension, steering and braking repairs
- Pre-delivery inspections
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and workshop organisation
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified technician
- Strong diagnostic ability
- Experience working on JLR, Porsche and / or BMW vehicles
- Ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Desirable
- Experience with BMW ISTA, JLR Pathfinder/SDD, Porsche PIWIS or similar diagnostic platforms
- Experience carrying out engine rebuilds and major mechanical repairs
