Electrical Installation Engineer – £18.00 – £20.00 per hour depending on experience– Leeds, West Yorkshire The Role Are you a skilled electrical professional with experience in commercial and industrial installations? We’re looking for an Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, great benefits, and the chance to make an impact in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems. This role involves extensive travel and occasional overnight stays, so flexibility is essential. Key Responsibilities: Install and terminate various cable types, including Cat5e, SWA, SY, and YY. Work on 400V AC mains, 24V DC control, and 4-20mA analogue circuits. Maintain and troubleshoot 3-phase motors, variable speed drives, and control systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics. Perform conduit, tray, and basket installations. Conduct panel wiring and ensure compliance with standards. The Company Stainless Steel Vessels Limited (SSV) design and supply brewhouses, process vessels and pipework to the beverage industry. We also offer a wide range of products including pumps, valves and fittings as well as our new hopinator for dry hopping. Benefits: Pension scheme. Tools, uniform and PPE. Company credit card. Allowances for accommodation and subsistence. The Person To excel in this role, you’ll need: A recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ3) and 18th Edition certification. A solid background in commercial and industrial installations. Experience with 3-phase systems, control circuits, and panel wiring. A full UK driving licence and a valid passport.
