To develop and lead a small, new risk and threat-led function within this well-established security design consultancy. Conduct SNA, SABRE and Threat & Risk studies, develop new opportunities, build relations with DOCO (Designing Out Crime Officer): Focused heavily on the overall, proactive design of surroundings to prevent crime and ALO (Architectural Liaison Officer): Focused closely on the architectural plans and physical security features of buildings. Together with CPDAs (Crime Prevention Design Advisors) in regulatory environments like BREEAM 2018, for security assessments and to provide governance over system designs relating to risk.
Candidates must have proven commercial experience in security risk management and risk-led security design in the built environment. The ability to write and present complex risk and design concepts clearly to clients and the design team, and have a good understanding of counter-terror design principles such as Secure by Design and CPTED.
