About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee and coordinate a dedicated team of officers at this prestigious private estate. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the site, residents, visitors, and assets, while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to security and emergency response protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of Wardens during shifts.
- Organise rotas, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.
- Serve as the first point of contact for any management or security issues on shift.
- Maintain accurate records including Daily Occurrence Book, CCTV logs, and access control audits.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Protection legislation, and internal security procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and residents to address security concerns.
- Conduct risk assessments, fire drills, and routine security checks.
- Deliver training, recruitment support, and professional development for team members.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging security technologies.
Person Specification
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Minimum 2 yearsβ experience as a security officer with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, alarms, and access control.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions.
- Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, discreet, and highly professional with a solution-focused approach.
- Numeracy and literacy skills; experience in cash handling.
- SIA Frontline Door Supervisor licence preferred.
