Building Information Modelling Manager, you can be based North East Midlands/South Yorkshire, salary is up to £60,000 DOE, with a range of benefits. You will lead the BIM/CAD team, ensuring drawing/model quality, compliance, and standards. Train teams, manage documentation, and serve as the main BIM/CAD contact. Our client will consider further afield for the right candidate as long as they are happy to travel to the office 1 day p/w minimum.

The Role:

  • Develop and enforce BIM processes, standards, and compliance (e.g., ISO 19650, IFC, COBie).
  • Manage BIM documentation (BEPs, MPDTs), training, and technical support.
  • Oversee BIM budgets, software, and hardware resources.
  • Conduct audits, ensure data accuracy, and implement best practices.
  • Coordinate BIM activities, clash detection, and quality assurance.

The Person

Essential:

  • BIM Manager experience with strong knowledge of ISO 19650.
  • Expertise in BIM workflows, model auditing, and execution plans.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and data exchange formats.

Desirable:

  • BIM certification or formal qualification.
  • Experience in Fire, Security, or Data infrastructure industries.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
