A leading and well-established security services provider is seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Security to deliver senior operational leadership across a multi-service portfolio including manned guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding, alarm response, and control room operations. This is a visible leadership role responsible for driving service excellence, regulatory compliance, contract performance, and team development across a geographically dispersed operation. Ideal for an experienced Security Operations Manager with strong knowledge of SIA ACS, ISO 9001, NSI Gold and British Standards, seeking progression within a professional and growth-focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior operational leadership across guarding, mobile response and control room services.
  • Ensure compliance with SIA ACS, ISO 9001, NSI Gold and relevant British Standards (BS 7499, BS 7984-1/3, BS 10800).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Duty Managers, Supervisors, and operational teams.
  • Oversee workforce planning, rostering, and service delivery performance.
  • Manage third-party providers and ensure SLA and contractual compliance.
  • Review and enhance operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Act as senior escalation point for incidents and operational risk management.
  • Participate in on-call rota (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off) providing out-of-hours leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement, audit readiness, and quality assurance.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager – Security or Senior Security Operations Manager.
  • Strong background across manned guarding, mobile patrols, alarm response, and control room environments.
  • Demonstrable experience managing large, multi-site security teams.
  • Experience implementing and improving operational processes and governance.
  • Strong contract management and SLA performance oversight.
  • Experience operating within SIA ACS and ISO-accredited environments.
  • Confident stakeholder management and client engagement skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence (SG, DS or CP) – CCTV desirable.
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • ISO 9001
    • SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS)
    • BS 7499
    • BS 7984-1 / 7984-3
    • BS 10800
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and workforce management / rostering systems.
  • Flexible and professional approach to duty management and out-of-hours support.
