Overview

Our client is an independent fire alarm & security systems installer and service provider based in Surrey, recruiting a Service Manager for the South of England and London area.

This is an office‑based role, so the successful applicant must live within commuting distance of the office near Croydon.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery of service and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) works, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational efficiency and commercial performance.
  • Coordinate a small team of engineers and sub‑contractors to deliver planned and reactive maintenance and small works projects to the customers’ satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the fire alarm industry as a service manager or service supervisor.
  • Strong technical background with excellent working knowledge of BS 5839 (ideally FIA or other certification).
  • Ideally possess knowledge of security systems.
  • Strong organisational, communication and management skills.
  • Competent with IT.

Compensation

Basic salary of £60,000 (neg.) plus car/allowance and package.
