A leading international law firm is seeking a US-qualified Securities Associate to join its London office on a 9–12 month fixed term contract. The role sits within a well-established capital markets practice and offers exposure to a broad range of US securities and cross-border capital markets transactions, working closely with ECM, DCM and finance teams on international matters involving US markets.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-jurisdictional team advising on a variety of matters, including:
- Cross-border securities offerings involving US markets
- Equity and debt capital markets transactions
- Offerings targeted at international investors, including the USA
- Advising issuers and investment banks on capital markets transactions
- Drafting and reviewing transaction documentation and prospectuses
- Supporting the execution of complex cross-border transactions
Candidate Requirements
- US-qualified lawyer
- Exposure to equity and/or debt capital markets transactions
- Experience with US securities laws and cross-border offerings
