Our client is a listed organisation with a lean, impressive governance function. Seeking a Group Company Secretary with both listed and regulated exposure to lead the team, working closely with the board to effectively assist with continued growth.

You will work closely with the board of directors and manage the company's end-to-end governance, delegating to the wider team where required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Exec, RemCo, Risk and Audit committees on end-to-end meeting management.
  • Attendance at Board meetings, and working closely with the CEO and Chair on all Governance matters.
  • Responsible for horizon scanning and action points.
  • Managing the Annual Report and Accounts alongside the Assistant Company Secretary.
  • Manage the Assistant Company Secretary, delegate work to them, and arrange scheduling for the wider team.
  • Managing relationships with senior stakeholders in the business.
  • Working closely with the General Counsel and other department heads.
