A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Employment Associate to join its highly regarded Employment team in London. The team advises a broad range of domestic and international clients, including financial institutions, multinational corporates, professional services firms, private businesses, charities and senior executives. The successful candidate will work closely with market-leading partners across a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

  • Day-to-day employment and HR advisory work
  • Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation
  • Corporate transactional support
  • Workplace and regulatory investigations
  • Senior executive advisory matters

The role offers extensive client contact and the opportunity to manage matters with appropriate partner support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied employment caseload from inception through to completion
  • Advising clients on a wide range of employment law and HR issues
  • Conducting employment litigation and managing external counsel where appropriate
  • Providing employment support on corporate and commercial transactions
  • Drafting clear, commercial and practical advice
  • Delivering internal and external training sessions
  • Contributing to articles, client updates, podcasts and know-how initiatives
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting the development of junior lawyers and trainees
  • Participating in business development and profile-raising activities
