Senior Associate | Leveraged & Acquisition Finance | 6 PQE+ | London
SSQ is working with a leading international law firm is looking to hire a Senior Associate into its growing Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team in London. The role would suit a technically strong finance lawyer with broad experience across lender and sponsor-side transactions.
The team is in a growth phase, with plans to expand its partner bench over the coming years and a clear appetite to promote from within. As a result, there are strong long-term progression prospects for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have:
- 6PQE or above
- Strong leveraged and acquisition finance experience
- Experience acting for both lenders and sponsors
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- The ability to run transactions with limited supervision
- A commercial mindset and an interest in business development and client relationships
This is a particularly attractive opportunity for a senior associate who wants greater responsibility, stronger client exposure and a clearer progression pathway than may be available within a larger or more heavily leveraged team.
