A high-growth, UK-headquartered digital media company is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join its expanding legal & compliance team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer with experience in litigation, criminal, or regulatory law to move in-house and work at the cutting edge of online safety, compliance, and legal strategy. You’ll be advising on high-impact legal matters and helping to shape processes that support global operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Responding to law enforcement and regulatory information requests (e.g. subpoenas, warrants, data sharing requests)
- Supervising internal analysts and managing legal disclosure workflows
- Supporting litigation strategy and responding to legal complaints
- Advising on GDPR and data-sharing matters
- Drafting internal guidance, templates, and policies
- Contributing to wider legal projects, including research, policy development, and process improvements
Ideal candidate profile:
- Qualified solicitor with approximately 1-3 PQE (other levels will also be considered)
- Exposure to litigation, criminal, compliance, trust & safety or regulatory work
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- A team-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving business environment
