A leading institution with a complex and high-profile legal function is looking for an Employment Lawyer to join its in-house Legal team on a permanent basis.

This is a rare opportunity for a NQ-3 PQE lawyer to work at the heart of a large, multi-stakeholder organisation, advising HR and senior leadership on the full spectrum of employment law matters.

The Role

With support from the Head of Employment, you will manage your own caseload of employment matters from start to finish, including complex litigation. Beyond casework, you will play an active role in policy development, stakeholder training, and process improvement. Expect genuine influence and involvement with senior stakeholders from day one.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Advising HR and senior management on a broad range of employment law issues
  • Running complex employment litigation and providing strategic legal input
  • Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures in response to legislative change
  • Delivering briefings and training to key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Contributing to the development of legal operations, including use of technology and AI
  • Managing relationships with external legal advisers
