Working closely with the Head of Legal and the Senior Paralegal, the successful candidate will support a broad range of commercial, corporate, regulatory and operational matters. This role would suit a motivated junior paralegal who is keen to gain high-quality in-house experience, work closely with senior stakeholders and develop within a growing legal function.

  • Supporting projects across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Managing legal documentation, contract processes and record keeping.
  • Supporting business stakeholders with day-to-day legal queries.
  • Coordinating with external counsel where required.
  • Assisting with corporate governance, entity management and regulatory matters.
  • Helping to maintain and improve legal processes, templates, policies and best practices as the function continues to grow.
  • Providing general legal and administrative support to the wider legal team.

Candidate Profile

  • Around 1โ€“3 yearsโ€™ experience working as a paralegal, either in private practice or within an in-house legal team.
  • Some exposure to financial services, wealth management, asset management, funds, corporate, commercial contracts or regulatory matters would be helpful.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and take ownership of tasks.
  • Confident communicating with internal stakeholders, external counsel and colleagues across different jurisdictions.
  • Collaborative, adaptable and keen to be part of a growing team.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence working with legal documentation and internal systems.

Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a junior paralegal to gain broad exposure within a growing international legal function. The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal leadership and develop experience across commercial, corporate, regulatory and operational matters.

Please note, there is no formal training contract attached to this role. However, it would suit someone looking to build strong in-house legal experience within a dynamic and fast-growing financial services business.
