12 Month Fixed-Term Contract - Hybrid, Full-Time
SSQ are partnering with a leading insurance company to recruit a Board Support Administrator to join its Company Secretarial and Governance function in London on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive governance professional to support the smooth operation of Board and Committee processes. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, including Directors and Non-Executive Board members, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality corporate governance support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the coordination of Board and Committee meeting cycles, including scheduling meetings, diary management and meeting logistics
- Preparing and distributing Board and Committee packs via the board portal, ensuring papers are accurately formatted and circulated within deadlines
- Supporting the Company Secretarial team with governance administration, onboarding documentation, training coordination and meeting arrangements
- Acting as a key point of contact for Board members, Executive Management and senior stakeholder queries
- Assisting with information requests, disclosures, declarations, annual returns and materials required for regulatory submissions and audit requests
- Maintaining governance records and supporting compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to enhance administrative processes
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a Board support, governance administration, Company Secretarial or Executive Assistant role within a regulated or professional environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience using Board portals such as BoardVantage or Diligent Boards
- Strong proficiency across Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
- Confident stakeholder management skills with experience supporting senior executives and Board-level stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and deliver work to tight deadlines
